Day 12 Aug. 23rd
Finally today, we got school supplies. I started the day off like usual, breakfast, T.V., snood, guitar, minesweeper. That kind of stuff, but at around noon we put on our empty back packs, and headed to fill them. We went to "Office Depot" but you can say it like you would in English, you just have to say it kind of fast, and don't pronounce the t. So we went to the paper section to get journals, and loose leaf paper. I'd like to make an observation; the paper here is not lined like American paper. There's small square, and big square. Small square, is like graph paper, and big square is just wierd. Anyway, the trip went rather well we found everything we needed. We then continued on to find some lunch. Another observation, unlike America, lunch is the big meal in France not dinner. Anyway, we found this little sidewalk cafe that was pretty cool. I got the Crepe jumbo. This crepe (kinda like a pancake) with cheese and ham in it. It was very good. Liam ordered a crepe froumage. (a crepe with cheese in it), but found that he didn't like it. Well, he said that he liked the taste, but he didn't like it to eat it. (I will never fully understand Liam) So the whole meal he was whining and asking for other people's food. Chloe reluctantly gave Liam some fries for one of his crepes, but she found that didn't like it either so I got it. Not only did i have my lunch, a little bit of Liam's, but my mom gave me some of her's too so that was an excellent meal. After the meal Chloe, and Dylan got two scoops of ice cream because they ordered the kids meals. Liam was especially jealous there since he only got a bite of Dylan's. After the meal, and a good deal of waiting for the waiter to come to our table we headed to the park across the street. I had brought my PSP which was wi-fi accessible so i could read my myspace messages (not answer them because it takes a long time to type on a PSP). The kids played on the park on a while, but Liam said he wanted to go to the one on the other side of the street because there were a lot of kids over there (there are a lot of parks in Paris.) So we went to the other park where i couldn't get a signal, so i mostly just watched Chloe, Dylan, and Liam. After the park, we decided to carry our back packs back home. And that's the end of that day
