Okay, today was the day of my test, and I feel pretty good about it. I had to wake up at 7:00, eat breakfast, and get ready and about 7:30 we headed out the door. A few metro stops later we were at the school. I had a water bottle, a sweater, and a sandwhich in my hands, and pencils in my pockets. So we went up to the secretary's room many other nervous teenagers around with their moms. And figured out where I was testing. My mom took me there, and I was with another kid who was Indian before she left me to akwardly find my way to the classroom and sit down my heart beat racing. The teacher (who was very nice and smiley) gave us the instructions (By us I mean 9-12th graders, new to the school). And then the placement test started. This section was math, and it wasn't very hard at all. There were some questions I didn't know (I forgot how to calculate volume), but overall it was okay. After the test we had an hour and a half before our next one. So for the first 10 I just awkwardly stood around, before finally a tall fellow 9th grader when the next test was. And then it started. We talked, and some other kids saw us talking, and then we were all talking! It was pretty awesome, and I met some really interesting people. The tall kid was Marcos. I actually don't know how to spell it, but I just call him mark. Mark was born in Moscow, but had been living in Brasil. He speaks like 4 languages, and I'm pretty sure he's been everywhere. (Except Chelsea, Vermont) There's also Dimitri, he was born in France, but he's been living Holland, and he also speaks 4 languages. Okay this next guy has the most awesome name...ever. and I know I won't spell it right, but it sounds like zeno. He's from Vietnam, and somewhere else I forget. He also speaks 4 languages. And there's also Maxine who's from London..... i think, I actually forget, but she speaks one language, which doesn't makes me feel better. So far I think i'm the only American. There are other kids, but those are the main ones I talked to. Oh wait there's also Dag who's Ethiopian. That's pretty much it besides G the guy who walked with me to the testing room. We didn't speak much, and I'm not sure I can pronounce his name, so I just call him G. So the school seems pretty cool, and me and everyone get along pretty well. At 11:15 the English test started, and it was pretty easy. I mean I should do well it's the only language I speak. After the test we hung out at the front of the building before everyone went their seperate ways. I figured out I'm the only that plays an instrument, but hopefully I find someone. I'm gonna need a band if I'm gonna be here for two years. Speaking of which look at what I learned how to do.
