Again I slept good, and slept in till about 10. This time we had cereal, it was something like choco pops, or something i don't know i can't keep up with all the cereal here, and while we're on the topic of french cereal i noticed at the grocery store that like all the cereal was chocolately. Anyway, i woke up and had cereal, and i heard mom say that today we're going to see a big church. So we headed down stairs at around noon, to the sacre cuere, i think that's how you spell it it means sacred heart. It's this huge catholic church you can see from our apartment. It was really beautiful and it had a lot of candles and things in it. There was no photography so unfortunately i couldn't get any pictures. But i did see one guy take a picture, and i really wanted to get onto him, but he probably wouldn't understand me. Ater that we walked around this really cool square that had a lot of touristy stuff, and painters painting people. It really annoys me how they can tell we're American. Like they'll go up to someone else, and say "bonjour", and then they come up to my family and they'll be like "hey guys" Anyway, my mom said a lot of really famous artists used to live there, now just a bunch of crappy ones. So after that my mom said we were gonna go to the louvre. Now if anyone doesn't know the Louvre is like the most famous, awesomest museum EVER. The mona lisa is there, the venus de milo, modanna on the rocks, all of that. So we made our way there, and sticking to our roots, we stopped at mcdonalds on the way there. Finally, we got there, the art was amazing and i had mom take my picture with the most famous things like the mona lisa (it's actually called the jaconde here) and the venus de milo. So that was pretty cool. After the art we went to the Latin district, and had some ice cream. Not the best ice cream in the world, but it was good. After that we decided to head home, cause we were pretty tired. So we got on the metro and went back to the apartment. On the way we wanted to the grocery shop, but in August a lot of the stores close because it's like the month of rest or something. So we got home, but mom and dad needed some stuff, so i babysatfor a while. After about 2 hours they came back, made pasta, gave the kids baths and put us to bed. I'll now take this time to share with you things I like about Paris, and things I don't like about Paris.
Things I like about Paris:
It's PARIS!
They're so much to do, and see
It's very diverse
The language, the culture
The food
Things I don't like about Paris:
At Mcdonalds they don't put ice in your drink, and you have to pay for your ketchup.
LOTS OF PEOPLE
You have to pay to go to the bathroom at public places
In August almost everything is closed
The electrical outlets are much different, which is annoying when all your plugs are American
